Not at all. You do not need to know anything about technology. All you need to do is send me your product photos, prices, and your WhatsApp number through WhatsApp — which you already know how to use. I handle everything else and send you a link when it is ready. If you can send a photo on WhatsApp, you can work with me.
No — and this is actually a good thing for small businesses right now. The page is a product display, not a payment system. When a customer taps Order on WhatsApp, you get a message from them and then you agree on payment the normal way — mobile money, cash on delivery, or bank transfer. This means no complicated payment setup, no fees taken from your sales, and you stay in control of every transaction.
A WhatsApp order page costs between UGX 20,000 and 50,000 depending on how many products you have and how much content needs to go in. A full business website costs between UGX 150,000 and 300,000. Both include free hosting — meaning once your page is live, there is no monthly fee to keep it online. The only extra cost is if you want a custom domain name like businessname.com, which you buy yourself for about UGX 25,000 per year. That is completely optional.
A WhatsApp order page is usually ready within 24 hours of me receiving all your details. A full business website takes between 5 and 7 days. The speed depends mostly on how fast you send me the photos and information I need. The moment I finish, you get a link you can start sharing immediately.
Just message me on WhatsApp and tell me what you want changed — new product, new price, new photo, anything. Updates are quick and I will send you the refreshed link. Small updates are usually done within a few hours. If you add many new products or want a big redesign, there may be a small fee depending on the work involved.
No monthly fees at all. Hosting is free — I use a platform called Cloudflare Pages which gives free hosting for websites like these. You only pay me once for the build. After that your page stays live with no ongoing costs, unless you choose to buy a custom domain name, which is optional and costs about UGX 25,000 a year paid directly to the domain provider — not to me.
Every page I build is designed mobile-first, meaning it looks its best on a phone screen. It will work on any Android or iPhone that can open a web browser — Chrome, Firefox, or the browser built into WhatsApp itself. Your customers do not need to download any app. They just tap the link and the page opens.
Payment is through MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money — the same way you already pay for things in Uganda. I ask for 50% of the agreed amount before I start building, and the remaining 50% when I deliver your live link. This protects both of us — you do not pay everything upfront and I do not work for free. No payment apps, no bank transfers required unless you prefer that.
For a WhatsApp order page: clear photos of your products (not screenshots from Instagram), the name and price of each item, your WhatsApp number, a short description of what you sell, and your location. For a full website: all of the above plus your business name, list of services, any logo you have, team member details if relevant, and a brief description of your business story. Everything can be sent through WhatsApp — no emails or forms needed.
