What exactly is a WhatsApp order page?
A WhatsApp order page is a simple website — just one page — that shows your products or menu with photos and prices. Under each item there is a button that says "Order on WhatsApp." When a customer taps it, WhatsApp opens on their phone automatically, already addressed to you, with a message saying exactly which product they want. All they do is press send. You receive the order instantly. Think of it as a digital market stall that works 24 hours a day, even when you are asleep or offline.
Do I need to know anything about computers or technology?
Not at all. All you need to do is send me your product photos, prices, and WhatsApp number through WhatsApp — which you already know how to use. I handle everything else and send you a link when it is ready. If you can send a photo on WhatsApp, you can work with me.
Can customers pay money directly on the page?
No — and this is actually a good thing for small businesses right now. The page is a product display, not a payment system. When a customer taps Order on WhatsApp, you receive a message and then agree on payment the normal way — mobile money, cash on delivery, or whatever works for you. No complicated payment setup, no fees taken from your sales, and you stay in control of every transaction.
How much does it cost and what is included?
A WhatsApp order page costs UGX 40,000–80,000 depending on the number of products. A full business website costs UGX 250,000–500,000. Both include free hosting — meaning once your page is live, there is no monthly fee to keep it online. The only optional extra is a custom domain like yourname.com, which you buy yourself for about UGX 25,000 per year — not paid to me.
How long before my page is live?
A WhatsApp order page is usually ready within 24 hours of receiving all your details. A full business website takes 5–7 days. Speed depends mainly on how quickly you send me the photos and information I need.
What if I want to change products or prices later?
Just message me on WhatsApp and tell me what you want changed — new product, new price, new photo. Small updates are usually done within a few hours. If you want many new products or a big redesign, there may be a small fee depending on the work involved.
Who pays for hosting? Are there any monthly fees?
No monthly fees at all. Hosting is free — I use Cloudflare Pages which hosts these sites at zero cost. You pay me once for the build. After that your page stays live permanently with no ongoing costs, unless you choose a custom domain (about UGX 25,000 per year, paid directly to the provider — not to me).
Will my page work on any phone?
Every page I build is designed mobile-first. It works on any Android or iPhone that can open a browser — Chrome, Firefox, or the browser built into WhatsApp itself. Your customers do not need to download any app. They just tap the link.
How do I pay you?
Through MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. I ask for 50% before I start and the remaining 50% when I deliver your live link. This protects both of us — you don't pay everything upfront and I don't work for free. Simple and fair.
What do I need to send you before you can start?
For a WhatsApp order page: clear photos of your products, the name and price of each item, your WhatsApp number, a short description of your business, and your location. For a full website: all of the above plus your business name, list of services, any logo you have, team details if relevant, and a brief description. Everything sent through WhatsApp — no emails or forms needed.
